Aging roofing on a 1970's Bradford Council house needed replacing.
The Monarch Solution
Replacement roofing was provided.
Many council houses built in the 1970's are now facing significant maintenence issues due to age. After consulting with Bradford Council we were selected to work on many houses due to the quality of our work and our competitive pricing.
The problem they faced was replacing everything with a solution that performed to modern standards yet maintained the period authenticity. Monarch leapt to the challenge and provided a complete stone roof to replace the leaky one, all new wood gutters, fully installed with rise and fall brackets as they were historically made.
Down pipes, cast collars and cast shoes were specially made, closely matching historical construction but with modern protective surface treatment. Wooden spacers were used behind the collars for authenticity and everything was finished in the Duke of Devonshire Estate approved colours.
